The world has gone mobile, and the workplace is no exception. Advances in cloud based technology have resulted in almost 20% of the workforce working remotely in some capacity. Benefits like cost savings, productivity gains and overall improvement in employee work life balance can make the prospect of telework appealing to both companies and employees. However, flexible work arrangements also pose many unique challenges such as lack of employee engagement and collaboration, the need for the right technology at home and security concerns.
